Born and raised in India, Pallavi started her first venture at the age of 18. Today she actively mentors, coaches, and empowers young South-Asian immigrants. Her vision is to liberate and support women business-owners in all pursuits.
Creative Director at Pallavi Haute Couture, a desi luxury clothing brand customizing upscale fashion fits since 2000! Pallavi carries extensive knowledge of South-Asian ethnic fashion, styling and production, exclusively customizing and designing them herself. Her flagship destination showroom is located in Calgary.
Pallavi is also the Founder and Creative Director at Gulab Homes, an Indian Artisanal Furniture & Décor brand. Her love for Indian culture and traditional art is what fuels her to bring forward Indian Karigari & Hathkargas to international platforms. The focus is Indian hand-made, authentic and exclusively customized on-order.
The Local. is her creative brand design and marketing firm, where she works predominantly with other small businesses or startups. Her niche is towards originating a brand's identity, building their awareness and solidifying their base.
Heavily influenced by Ayurveda, Pallavi is the first to introduce Kaaya, an Ayurvedic body care brand to the Western Canadian market. Kaaya is focused on scientifically proven Indian Ayurvedic recipes, curated for modern-day needs.
Pallavi is the Co-founder and Director at Hindustan Arts Academy. HAA is an exclusive South-Asian music and dance academy in Calgary. Pallavi is trained in Kathak under Guru Pali Chandra and is a Bollywood enthusiast. At the academy, they focus on workshops for Kathak, Semi-classical, Bollywood and Indian classical instruments.

Pallavi creates mixed media artwork, it has been a solid exercise and an outlet for her creativity. In doing her bit towards spreading mental health awareness, she practices fundraising exhibitions. These are carried out through established organizations which can benefit from monetary assistance. It is said, that if and when you get a chance, support a cause any way you can. And try to do your bit, to bring a change.
